For whom the profession is suitable
This profession is primarily suitable for people with a high level of empathy (the ability to empathize) and compassion. The nurse must be a good psychologist and be able to reassure the patient before a procedure. It is important to understand that nursing is a profession that requires a high level of stress tolerance. Patients are different and not all recover. Also, this profession requires a high level of concentration, accuracy, precision, responsibility, and the ability to self-organize.

Career
With a degree in nursing alone, you can grow up to be a head nurse. Once you have a university degree, feel free to apply for the position of head nurse.

Many professionals pursue further training in the medical field and subsequently become qualified doctors. Previous experience in patient care will be a significant advantage.

Job Duties:

  • Administering first aid. This is something every medical professional, from junior to senior staff, should be able to do.
  • Intramuscular and intravenous injections. The nurse must know the anatomy and clearly perform this manipulation.
